OK so I got a little carried away - Howa in .308 and a Marlin .22
Not as exciting as some on this thread but they are my first so I am happy!
Now to see if I can remember how to shoot given that its 18 years since my time at Bisley....

Hehe - I have to say after spraying .22 all over the place at the range, the .308 felt like quite a thump
After putting 15 rounds through running the barrel in somewhat, this was my first 3 shot group (only at 25m mind - I wish I could say it was 100!) Its about 6 inches up on point of aim so am going to see how that translates to 100m. Ran out of time on sunday sadly but will get back next week. Now enough of my crappy shooting, someone post some more gun pics.![]()
Not much to brag about but pretty happy with my new Boyds stock on the 6.5. The old one was one of those crappy plastic jobbies with the disintegrating neoprene pads. Love the rifle so tarted her up with a Boyds and sealed her with 3 coats of Tru-Oil. Pretty happy
