    I saw one on trademe ages ago drop from around 2grand to about 1300 iirc. If I had the money I would have got it. Bloody nice looking rifle

    Yeah i must admit i thought dad was just talking it up but when he put the bolt in and operated i must say it is the nicest action i have ever felt. Cheers Toby.

    Rear locking. Smooth as silk. 24” barrel. Quite a few were imported in 7x61 S&H calibre during the 1960’s. Less in 6.5x55.
    The Schultz & Larsen company disappeared in NZ during the 70’s or a bit later, and then reappeared in about 2000 under the same name but a new company and a front locking action quite different to the ML65. I have one, and the quality is right up there with the old originals.

    Dead Eye Dicks had a ML65 last time I was there. They trade for about $1,200 - 1,500.
