Timmay RRP $1590 too much for me. I made an offer below that and it came home.

It's in the rifle, but is plastic so can't be modified to accept Saum rounds. Gunsmith ordered a metal mag over a month ago, but hasn't shown up yet. hopefully soon!

Well not new as I bought it some 14 years back.

A near mint condition BRNO 581 Auto .22LR manufactured in 1959. It's quite accurate and is beautifully made.

Some people are not aware that the Bren Gun of WWII fame and latter conflicts was made up of a Brno action and Enfield barrel. The name Bren was derived from Brno and Enfield.

Barefoot. How did your Savage 6.5 Creed shoot in the end? Happy with it?

I've only fired a few shoots with it then it went back in the cupboard as the scope mounts seemed to be putting pressure on the scope.
It's at DPT's getting threaded and suppressed then I will give it a good workout and report back.
I've been having fun with the trapdoor 45/70 instead. I tell you the goats don't go far with a hole that size in them. Need to get a deer with it though.

Sure is but was told I'm not aloud to share it, much like what the Mrs tells me with my other stumpy single shot.

Oh come on Nibblet surely you will let me have a play. Not with the stumpy one shot either in case you were getting excited.
