I thought I'd finally throw a couple of shots up of my latest pair Both in 300AAC Blackout - which happens to be the classic situation of order one and be told its gonna be there in a month or so then 3 months or maybe up to 6 months so then you go and order another thinking - yeah no worries it'll be months before the other arrives and then they both turn up within a week of one another.

I got the Ruger as a bush gun for this years roar and its been awesome - and the poor old Troy hasn't even managed to have the packing grease removed yet... I'm getting the feeling one maybe superfluous to requirements as a result which is a bit of a shame.... but there you have it.

Absolutely loving the Ruger and the tweaks have been really easy and painless to get it to shoot very well - I was honestly surprised as was Scouser when I drilled a goat with it at distance and bang on the money.

Approx 2000 rounds of all sorts so far without any cleaning or issues.
Love that with surplus buckshot I can have all the shells in the air at once and keep it on target
Tactical? Would be a pain in the ass trying to room clear with that.

Gamer would have been more accurate

    Nothing IMHO

It comes with a scope rail and a breaching choke but as its got a 22" barrel I can't imagine anyone issuing one for actual "tactical" work.
It's intended for three gun comps etc so hence my gamer comment.

Stupid name aside its a very nice shotgun and I like it a lot

Not quite new but definitely improved.

Now it has a new boyds stock, bushnell 3-9 x 40 and has been shortened, threaded and suppressed by gunworks. It is a laser for bunnies out to 150, wallops hares down nicely at that range. Haven't tried much further
