Good thing is it takes the same chokes as a Rem 870 so these that I already have will fit.

Was that one on TM for a while. It looked bloody nice. Would be keen to hear what you think of it.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Bought off Faceplant. With a bit of luck I'll get to the range tomorrow night to try her out.

    Hi Greg,
    Re 510 whisper.
Who did the chambering for you?
    How noisy is it?
Because my 458 socom is loud and I can't imagine that beast being any quieter.
What is the current price of the a- max once landed in NZ?
    Ta.

A new 72 year old toy.

1943 Husqvarna M1938 Swedish Mauser in 6.5x55 Swe
    All matching parts.
No bayonet though, so the Zombies are safe.
Rifle is 8/10 overall, rifling is prob 7.5/10, as to be expected for a 72 year old rifle.

I think my first 'for the hell of it' firearm will be one of these. Beautifull old rifle in a fantastic calibre

I'm expecting my m96 on Thursday, so there could be a couple of hot Swedish girls in attendance!

How about a sexy Canadian and cheap American?

BTW @dogmatix you lie, the zombies are not safe. The rear end of those things is just as lethal at the front, that steel but plate will break zombie skulls (mush?) nicely!

    At 7.75lbs recoil is "brisk"

I don't have any hunting projectiles yet but they are available.

This will give you a little indication of noise & recoil.

It isn't that quiet, but it isn't that loud either..

I have a couple more sections for the suppressor on the way.

The 750 Amaxs are relatively easy to get here at the moment

The biggest problem is deciding whether to put them in the BMG or Whisper
