Cool, .....maybe a suppressor would be more versatile?, my .223 has a real bark to it without the can, even with plugs and electronic muffs.

And before any one calls me a girl because of the brake on a 223, I shoot to relax... keeping recoil to a minimum is part of that relaxing....

Best I can do is a 3 inch group of 8 at 200m... limiting factor will be me not the gun.

Get a suppressor, 100x's better than that silly brake

Heading out for a hunt Friday morning so lets see if I can get some blood on it.

(ignore the gay rings and cheap scope, a bolt grind + lower rings and zeiss or IOR is heading its way

Nice piece of wood on that for a "standard" rifle.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

@gimp nice choice of weapon. I had its little cousin cz75 nickel. I had 5 other pistols, including a .38super race gun all tricked out that I spent an embarrassing amount of $$$ on....but the cz was my favorite. Cz make real pistols, well my Browning hipower was a close second, but the cz was just cool!

Here's my Scout with the bling i picked up for it recently.
It's currently got my old Sightron S2 Big Sky on it and i haven't got the correct rings to mount the new optic yet, but i threw it on anyway

Atlas BT10 bipod with ADM QD lever
    Versapod UIT to Picatinny adapter
    US Optics anti cant device
Vortex Optics anti cant device (got a bargain on it)
Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP scope (with butler creek covers)

Originally i was going to do a 2 tone stainless/black look, but the new optic is gonna throw that aside.

P.S... Probably not classified as a "Scout" rifle anymore

I am not really familiar with the scout, but I thought the Steyr scout had a bipod built into the fore stock. So have you mounted a bipod to a bipod or do not all scouts have that feature? Or do I have my Scouts mixed up with another rifle?

The inbuilt bipod is pretty high and has no adjustment in it, so for bench resting and prone purposes I bought a detachable one as the inbuilt is more of a last resort.
