Well I shot *at* a deer with it this week. And missed. Looked at the animal not the sights.
Shot a hare at 110 metres afterwards to make myself feel better. And bought a new front sight blade and ramp which have arrived and will hopefully be fitted inside a couple of weeks.
You could say that. I do it occasionally with iron sights. Missed a hare the other week with my HK .223 doing the same thing. Line up sights, look at animal to see the effect when the trigger is squeezed, miss.
