WHOA HEY GUYS LOOK OVER HERE, R93 has brought a Tikka in .243
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

If you go Aberlour (and why wouldn't anyone) then a must try is the Cask strength A'bunadh (spelling might be off but you will find it). Xmas.

It takes a bit to get this old bugger excited nowadays, but the prospect of my new Mod7 laminated/blue 300saum arriving tomorrow has done the trick.

I even have a batch of trial hand-loads ready to go and a spare 'scope (Conqest 3-10 z600) in its mounts and waiting.

p.s. Its the first time I've used CCI200 primers. Anyone have some feedback on them? I bought a 1000 during the shortage so might as well use them. Use Federal in everything else.

Nice! I have used CCI200s for nearly all my reloading and found them to be reliable and consistent, allthough im currently using Federal Gold Medal Match magnum primers with my 300saum load, for no other reason than I decided to try something different and the load is working so havnt changed it.
Highly reccomend trying some 2213sc if you're having no luck.

I use the gold match in my 270wsm.
I couldn't get any 2213sc. Trying n550 and 2208 with 150 hot cores to start because its what i've got. Once I see what it shoots like I will get a bit more serious.
90 rounds of factory 165grn comes with the rifle too.
