Just snagged this S&W US Army Model 1917 for the unbelievable price of $500.
She's in super tight mechanical condition, the finish is amazing for a 100 year old wheel gun, she didn't go through a re-arsenal, all the WWI acceptance stamps are crisp and clear.
Not one of my usual humble brag threads of where I rob the evidence locker but I think I did well.

114 Year Old Colt New Service that's been rode hard and put away wet. Paid $25 for it a few years back.
Can still hit plates at 30 yards one handed.

114 Year Old Colt New Service that's been rode hard and put away wet. Paid $25 for it a few years back.
Can still hit plates at 30 yards one handed.
Took the S&W 1917 to the range also. For a 100 year old revolver. It shots like it is brand new.
