So, my previously stock Saiga 7,62x39mm has received some upgrades, namely:
* Mapgul Zhukov stock - as a tall person, the extra LOP is a welcome benefit, as is the "rubber" butt plate which ensures better adherence when in the shoulder.
* Troy handguard - 6 slot M1913 / Picatinny rail for RDS + co-witness but main advantage for me is being able to move my supporting hand further forward than the stock handguard provided.
* Magpul pistol grip - Bit chunkier than standard and dippled - with big hands this provides a more positive grip.
* ALG trigger - By far the best mod, thoroughly recommend anyone with a Saiga AK to undertake this upgrade. It turns a long creeping shot release and trigger reset into a nice short and crisp one. For me it turned what I'd regarded as an average rifle into an enjoyable one.

Did you consider going with the Magpul hand guard too? Looking to get the full furniture for my 223 Saiga AK. I have also been told the hinge on the stock can be problematic have you heard this?

I sure did however a friend had this handguard lying around so used that instead. As for the stock and fitment - pretty straight forward, I encountered no problems.
