About LinkBacksI tried epoxying a rail on my old browning years ago in an effort to use my oeg aimpoint. yeah fail. Araldite lasted less than 5 shots truying to sight it in.
I then tried some of that CRC epoxy putty. One of the first out. Heaps better. Sighted it in, about a packet and a half of ammo on opening morning and it fell off again lol.
A lot of metal clanging and banging on an A5 so maybe your rifle not so bad. good luck but I would have though about sweating it on minimum.
