Nice, good rifle and a time proven design. Old man does a lot of shooting and the m30 is his weapon of choice from a chopper.

Turn your bipod around. Can't put any weight forward onto it that way. :)
Pic of my .308 Tikka Tac 24". Has my Tikka 7mm08 LSS behind it. (THE LSS CHASSIS AND S3 SCOPE ARE FOR SALE). Tac is a dream to shoot.

Well, I ended up sending to MDT again in Canada to get the magazines as no one in NZ seems to be stocking 223 ones. So I got 2 308 ones as well ready for the 6.5 CM Im gonna build. Even with shipping from Canada I reckon I saved about $80 on 4 mags over local prices if they were in stock:thumbsup:

Made the swap: just need a Harris 6-9 rather than 9-13.
@300_BLK this was my intent; LR rifle set up in either LSS or MDT and place the T3 light into the Tac stock. Tac stock is much better than the normal "light" one but yeah, a tad heavier. I say worth it though.
@300_BLK. Tac shoots real tight with the DPT modular can on it. Haven't had a chance to shoot it in the LSS chassis yet. Hopefully this week. Will do a zero with the Light in the Tac stock. Bonus is that the Tac comes with a 5 round mag as well.
