Thats nice ill get me one one of these days
I like that mount, where did you get it?
Its a ADM https://www.americandefensemanufacturing.com that I picked up from John at https://www.nzrac.co.nz about 6 years ago,was planning to use a more normal AR hight bobros mount but the bump in the scope body at the turrents interfered so had to use this higher unit
New toy !
Bergara BA13 308 20inch 1:12 twist.
Hunted and hounded and found a brand new yellow label bushnell TRS 25 for it !!!
Expoxied the rail on
Had the over sized thread protector spun down and bead blasted.
Very happy with it so far
Ready for sight in !

Never had any issues with mine, both my bergaras 308 and 223 shoot like lasers, both have scopes mounted on the picatinny rail that is factory mounted.
I guess if it wasn't shooting straight you could question the rail ?
I even removed the rail on my 308 and when I put it back on I don't remember there being a great deal of play if any and it shot straight before and after.
I tried epoxying a rail on my old browning years ago in an effort to use my oeg aimpoint. yeah fail. Araldite lasted less than 5 shots truying to sight it in.
I then tried some of that CRC epoxy putty. One of the first out. Heaps better. Sighted it in, about a packet and a half of ammo on opening morning and it fell off again lol.
A lot of metal clanging and banging on an A5 so maybe your rifle not so bad. good luck but I would have though about sweating it on minimum.
I think you will find that "epoxied the rail on" means it was epoxied AND screwed on...dumbasses
Well considering I tried it back in the day I would assume that someone else may try. No meat on the top of the A5 to D/T so not much option in that case.
As a fitter I also struggle with the need for epoxy under scope rails. If they don't hold they aren't big enough or there is something else going on.
