    Gunworks Duralium standalone suppresor

Looking at putting a Gunworks Duralium standalone suppresor, on my remmy model 700 in 7mm08, just wondering what people think of them and how the compare to the Hardy suppressors.
    Cheers Josh

Hey ill start by saying I don't have one on my rifle yet but im also sussing out suppressors.Im lucky to have mates with both the suppressors in question and ive used rifles with both these ones and they are good. However there is one more you should look at seriously DPT.

Agree about the DPT suppressors I have heard those DPT ones twice and both times I was impressed by the sound reduction, size and weight (quite a small supressor for what they do) I for one would love to have one on my remmy 700 at some stage.

I really like them after using your rifle with one on. I swapped rifle's this arvo on the range he had a 260 rem with a DPT and they are such a nicely finished piece of kit
I also think the rear bush is well done also and they are competitively priced.

I would like to try a DPT on my magnum, but the barrel is too big. I wonder if DPT can squeeze another .5mm out of the rear bushing. Their maximum is 22.5mm and my barrel is 23mm.
Might give them a call tomorrow to ask.
Does anyone know if they can do it.

DPT is a lot lighter and smaller than a Gunworks and a lot less in price than a Hardy. A read some guys did a comparison test between the 3 mentioned and all were about the same noise levels (dpt slightly quieter). DPT is certainly flavour of the month at the moment with a lot od folks, myself included. Very happy with mine, very well made and light, only 260gms for and over barrel suppressor.

I run gunworks on three of my rifles, very happy with them.

But DPT seem to be in favour at the moment, only heard good things about them.

I think the only maker I know of who makes them for our barrels is dan Hardys.
The gunworks maximums ones may fit. Will give Robbie a call tomorrow to find out. And prices are much the Same as dpt as well at $408.

Might look at muzzle can but I don't think the dpt ones are magnum rated. I'm not too concerned. I only shoot with ear muffs and the noise or muzzle blast from the brake doesn't bother me. Lol

Might have to save up for one of Robbins or Dans I guess.
