Welcome to Sako club.
.270! What’s not to like!
Uncommon opinion: the .270 was/is the 'Creedmoor' (of it's time) and it took nearly 90 odd years to move beyond with more efficient powders, greater knowledge of projectiles and twist rates etc. A great cartridge still.
"O Great Guru what projectile should I use in my .308?" To which the guru replied, "It doesn't matter."

Hard post to read, like celebrating the black sheep of the family's birthday as the overshadowed sibling haha.
another good point for our old favourite be a lot easier to sell a .270 now a days than a 6.5 Creedmore
I suspect it will be even more so in another few years when the 6.5 manbun has fallen further from favour. The .270w just works, not the most popular round but those that use it seldom complain. Like many,if you use right projectiles and put them in right place, the freezer will stay full. I've shot many deer in wrong place with one and still brought home venison.
75/15/10 black powder matters
Well I happy to bet $20 with you in another hundred years which one will still be around... Of course neither of us will be around to collect lol. But yes during lean years of the 80s I was guilty of Russian heart shots on quite a few occasions.
75/15/10 black powder matters
It's more of a Boooooom stick than a Bang stick though.
Happy Jack.
the creedmoor needs more the .270 almost needs less it is that much of a savage.
How can there be so much blasphemy about god's cartridge and no intervention by the mods. We need a change of pope
270s are dumb
