Thread: HELP assembly of Stirling Model 16 action.

Is this the same as the Norinco JW14 and clones? I think that this was the same as the Armscor Model 20P, if I have the right rifle? And that was a knock off of a European rifle which I can't recall.

If I have the right rifle, it will likely be to do with the assembly of the bolt, recoil springs, bolt handle and the sear and trigger group. I had one of these, and recall a similar thing where if it wasn't put back together just right it didn't play and also would not cycle at all. I have a book which shows the disassembly of it and offers a one-page of reassembly hints which isn't that helpful as it doesn't actually show the relationship of sear to bolt. I can post them up though if it would help. Another not very humorous post by me!
