Help please. QD stud mod.

So what I'm going to do is find a Qd base like this, http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...4aade8c98f.jpg
And try and find a screw that will fix it to replace this sling stud. Does anyone know what thread this sling stud might be? http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...f127d56408.jpg

are you near paraparaumu ? ... I have lots of thread gauges to check the size

Should be 10-32 UNF

Have you tried attaching your sling at the rear of the buttstock? I find that works a lot better but that is just my preference

Down south @stumpy , thanks @Shamus I've ordered a socket so just need the screw now. Haven't tried one at the rear yet but I did try one on this point and liked it. Just need to change it to suit an ms4 sling
