Help with purchasing low magnified AR scopes

    So many options out there.

CQB shooting and short range (1-200m hunting)

    Vortex, Primary Arms, Leupold, Bushnell?

I know there are plenty of high priced brands but $5-700 would be what I would consider for a seccond hand scope.

    Thoughts?

Hmmm. Think I will pass, but cheers mate. Besides, I thought these were set up for AK? Or is yours converted to picatinny?

you can get mounts to put them on just about anything, I have them on a AR,a ak and on a 10/22.
Persononly think the glass in them is far above most other scopes selling for the same soert of $, and they acuratly dial. I personly think glass and dialing is more important than zoom, and I hate to say it but your not going to get all three in that price point. I now run a dialable 1-8 scope for the use your describing, but thats in a whole different catogary price wise.

I do like Millet. Will have more of a look into it. Usually quite heavy though...

    I had a 1-4 on my AR15 when I first got it
    thought it would be ultimate

I wasnt a fan of it at all.
at 1 power you get to see tons of your suppressor which annoyed the shit out of me
it stayed on 4 power till it got replaced with a typical rifle scope. 2.5-8x32 vx3 leupold
If you haven't tried one yet id recommend trying one before sinking big money into one

    Wouldn’t a canterleaver mount help?

It was in a cantilever mount
it annoys me in some of my other suppressed rifles in 3 power mag with low rings too. it was just really bad in 1 power on my AR
(Hi-Lux Optics Close Medium Range Scope (CMR) Illuminated Ranging Reticle 1-4x24) This was my scope if it makes any difference

Not for a AR needed to put a scope on my
.300 Blackout. Looked at the Leuopold Hog Hunt..? Nice scope but a bit limiting I thought. Just went for a Bushnell Banner 3-9 X 40 or the 2-7 X 33 can’t remember which power. Happy days

@Hunter_killer get a primary arms acss reticle 1-6.

They are bang on with the Ammo you will be slinging and will work on a 308 if you move the scope around.

On 1x they are a red dot, 6x you can shoot to max effective...

    @300_BLK

REF Primary Arms, would you go FFP? Packs a bit more on the tag but the reticle naturally makes more sence.
