Hogue after market stock for savage 116

Hey, I have been looking at getting a hogue stock for my savage model 116.. I see out door supplies has them.. There are 2 options, 1. pillar bed or 2. full bedding block.
And it says on the web site Simple drop in installation.
So my question is Would it be as easy as just swapping the stocks over at home, or would it pay to take to gun smith and get it professionally bedded.
I think I would go for pillar bed as it is about half the price.
    Cheers.

If the pillar bedded one is the same as the hogue stock the Howas come with you may find it to be quite soft and flexible in the fore-end - whether thats an issue for you depends on the type of shooting you do, fine in the hand but not ideal if you use a bipod often.

I'd just swap it over yourself at home if you get one, you can always get someone to bed it for you later if it seems necessary.
