    what is the general opinion of these esp on small bore ...
    do they work well without damaging bore ? thanks
    shooting .17 ackley hornet so size dos'nt matter

    I use them all the time. Brushes are made of brass aren't they meaning they are softer than the barrel and should be sacrificial?

    I have one for black Beauty (.260), does the trick, nice and light and small so can take in the field with me too.
