How much does it cost to get a barrel changed/swapped?

How much does a gunsmith roughly charge for swapping a barrel in same caliber (.223 but different twist) on a Tikka T3 ?
I got the spare barrel, it just needs to be swapped and thread cut for suppressor.
I am not concerned about mag length, extension etc.
And who can you recommend to do this job on the South Island?
    Cheers

Cost me $60 at Gun Works to swap a T3 barrel with another standard T3 barrel, but that was without getting the new barrel indexed (the writing is not up the right way). Will cost more if you want it indexed but you could just get lucky and everything lines up.

Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

Yup. Zac or Gunworks would be the two I would start with here as well.

T3s are incredibly consistent in their machining/headspacing. There is a high chance the headspace will be spot on simply swapping barrels.

Really? Good to know but I’ll find out soon enough.
