Post #10.Yes Dick your shooter is a model 1640 rifle built on a Husky model 1600 sporting action as per your happy snap. The Timney replacement trigger sku #303 is designed for the military M96 Mauser action for sporterizing into a scoped shooter. This will suffice in your Husky 1600 action but not utilize the original sliding safety. Many decades ago Timney did manufacture a Husky (HVA) 1600 action replacement trigger utilizing the factory side safety, but that product has long been discontinued. The #303 is the compromise solution that will require a little inletting if you are using the original Husky walnut stock.
