    Importing sights

    Hi all,

Had a quick browse through older posts but I couldn't quite find the answer!

I've been on websites such as opticsplanet.com and they seem to have a good range of red dot sights. I was thinking of purchasing one but these sights carry export restrictions and It seems I could have a problem getting them into NZ.

Has anybody else brought red dots into the country? If so, did you have any issues in doing so..

    Cheers

I have got a few in with no problems, unless you count having to pay gst on larger orders a problem.
It's getting them out of the states that can be the problem, but optics planet send you a email if you try to buy one they can't export before any charges hit your card

Perfect, that was the answer I was looking for il also be trying to avoid any added costs that customs may want to throw at me.

Once you placed your order with said website, how long was the anxious wait before your package arrived?
