Thread: INFO: Colt Ar15 A2 Big Pin Upper

Bought myself and upper as I want to build an ar!
Just a few questions, what's Colt compatible with? Will most barrels, lowers, BCG's fit? If not why and if so what would be the better things to go for?

You will need a colt large pin lower to go with the upper. Otherwsie you need a bushing to reduce the front takedown pin hole size to fit a lower. All other parts should fit fine.

Was that the one one trademe with the milled off carry handle?

nope NZShoota covered it,

its all just grown ups lego, it all fits together

IMO sell that upper and buy a proper A3 upper with a rail attached, and small pin,
any value that colt upper had went down the toilet when they milled off the carry handle
