    Ishapore 2A(1) Enfields

    Hi,

    Does anyone own one? Im interesting in getting one and Im looking for info on known weakpoints/problems to look for when buying one. I'd also like to look at casting my own bullets for it if anyone has done that.

    Don't run commercial .308 in it seems to be the consensus. 7.62x51 is fine, but not .308. If you load your own, stick to the lower end of the charge scale to keep the pressures down.

    I nearly bought one a few years ago, but ended up buying an unfired k98 instead. Kind of wished I'd got the enfield ever since.
