I need some chunks of birch laminate for a stock project - anyone got some or know of a source? Thanks

    Yacht outfitters?
    Kitchen outfitters?

There’s an outfit in CHCH that supplies exotic/imported timbers and will cut to size. Their name escapes me but I think Lunn’s Road address. They will post

Well sometimes you just have a bit of Luck (yes - luck with a capital "L"). I went into Custom Guns today to pick up a couple of items Greg Hudson had ordered for me and mentioned the birch . . . "oh I think Nelson (Nelson Collie of Status Guns, Nelson is at the back, Custom Guns at the front of the same shop) might have a bit. It took a fairly comprehensive search with Nelson but eventually a piece of laminate about 1.0Mx1.0M and 55mm thick was located - just what the Dr ordered and right under my nose! I've got an off-cut which I'll put through a boil test to make sure its waterproof - but it looks like the real deal.
