The Latest and hopefully last 7 Saum i will own.....

After having owned about 5 or 6 of these it has become my favourite cal and i have had a few different incarnations of this great round from model 7's and rem titaniums to a sako 85 i decided to part with my last one which was a rem titanium that @Nesika now has i decided to build my version of the ultimate 7 Saum,

The first step was to decide on the action for this rig i had two on the shortlist the defiance and lone peak titanium... so i got both in after a lengthy wait and although the defiance hunter was top notch i opted for the lighter titanium action 300 grams lighter in fact....

so here she is hopefully the weather clears so i can get to load development.

    Specs are.

Lone Peak Razor titanium short action with nitrided bolt.
    Bartlein 2b 1:8.7 finished at 22 inches
    McMillan NZ Hunter edgetech stock
Bainey 3b magbox has an internal length of 3.1 inches so i can seat the eld-x's out nicely
    Triggertech trigger
Talley rings (waiting on some Hawkins precision to arrive)
    Leupold VX5HD 3-15x44 with aluminas

Bare rifle weighs 2.610 KG and scoped ready to go is 3.360 kg on the kitchen scales

Cheers Dean for putting it together for me and the encouragement and advice from @7mmsaum @dale @Matt2308

Nice Cam..... was wondering about the rings lowing the tone...

Can you get the Razor-Ti SA in a square cut port.... like on the website...? that cut looks uncomfortably like a Stiller for me...

Whats the bottom metal ... is it PTG Canoe Oberndorf SA?

How long did you leave the shank on the barrel... looks like about 30mm? Barrel looks perfect in that stock...

Looking at a similar build... in 6.5 SLR...... cheers..
