    Leica 2400-R EHR range info

Does anyone have any firsthand experience of the 2400-R with the max range when in EHR mode?

I’ve seen two conflicting max ranges given, one of 1200 yards and the other only 830-odd yards?

With the latest 2400-R - I think EHR (equivalent horizontal range) is same with all Range Bino included and its around thats around 1100-1200 yards
But I no guro on that Tech stuff but use the 2400-R (latest) and get out to 2000m+ in good conditions straight linear distance ranging
    They are a brilliant Ranger
    Got 2 next week here

at that distance you dont want ehr you need true range then input the angle for your ballistic calc.

Could it be curvature of earth limit ???
They (all brands I can see) have same limit 1100m or 1200 yards

I’ve already got a ballistic solver for drop at given ranges. But as Muka has noted, it needs the equivalent horizontal range to feed into it.

if you use a ehr range of 1100 m instead of true range of say 1400 your windage will be out. All the elr and prs instructors advise not to use EHR.
