    Leica range finder bino combination

Leica will be releasing a set of binoculars with a inbuilt rangefinder at the shot show in the US. Januarary 2013.

sound like a handy bit of kit, not sure of the magnification.

I think you only got half of the story, leica are going to bring out a bino-rangefinder with alot more lazer range than the current model they have on offer, we will just have to wait and see if it stacks up against the competition
1000yds is fun, 1500yds is getting interesting, 2000yds is exciting, 2500yds will blow your mind

They need to sort the meter/yards crap too. It is not hard to add some form of switch to do either in one unit.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

The rangefinder is the same system that Gunwerks in the US use in their rangefinder (G7,br2 LASER RANGEFINDER), meaning that it has the ability to measure air temp (density) and may be used in conjuction with their turret system.

I'm not aware of another system that has that capabilty?

    Cheers Rob
