I just purchased a near new CDS scope. But No Allen key!
Seems to be an odd size. Anyone know what size it is? Or where to get one?

It’s very small I no that much yea they no longer give you one with the scope but send you one when you order the cds go figure il attempt to measure for you
Google says:
PN 33094 0.050 hex key
Bondhus do them, should be able to find one at an engineering suppliers.
It’s the next size down from 1/16, fuck imperial measurement.
https://safarifirearms.com.au/leupol...y-sku-le33094/ available to buy in oz, not sure bout shipping though
0.048" is too small.
0.062" is too big.
DOH
Mine measures 1.58mm / 0.062" so 1/16.
The mako Allen key set from the warehouse has it.
Had the same issue when I brought a 2nd hand vx5
With the cheap allen keys make sure the end of the allen key is square on the hex and not rounded or missing the hex shoulders for whatever reason. Shorten it back and clean up the end if so. It sucks trying to get that little allen screw out when it's rounded off I can tell you that much.
Leupold use imperial sized Allen keys, the size your after should be 1/16
Well,,,I've discovered that 0.05" is some times sold as 1.27mm. You learn something every day.
I got one from leupold/Nioa it’s 0.05.

My standard allen key set had the sizes for vx3 and 5, learnt the hard way it’s different between them, grabbed the allen key for the vx3 went for a drive and found we couldn’t zero a vx5, bita laugh
a cheap aliexpress imperial allen key set so far has had the right sized allen key for all my leupold scopes. and no they are not all the same...
Looking at the bondhus imperial set at work the smallest size is .050.
Seems pretty available
