Had to get MOA turret separate, was easy though, my local retailer sorted it. I have both a MK4 and a Vx6 and would much rather use the Vx6. Nicer to look through, Lower profile turrets, not as bulky, price was good.

I’ve dialed my 2-12 out to 500yds, hit the gong, and then back ok. MOA turret. Shot a couple of deer but didn’t need to dial.
Getting it focussed through the whole power range took a fit of fidling around, but I’ve got it right. I wear glasses.
Sighting it in originally was a breeze. Just 3 shots. That’s usually a good sign.
I’m pleased with it.
I’m waiting for a 3-15 Zeiss HD5 (dialing lock turrets) for my 6.5 at the moment, so it will be interesting to see how they compare. About the same price. Same weight.
HD5 25mm tube, VX6 30mm.
Vx6 is the shit. I love mine, have it on my 7-375r.
Shot a 1 moa rock at 720 yards yesterday morning 1st shot using the cds turrets.
Glass is great, weight is good.
Alumia caps make it even sweeter to have as an allround gun.
Yep certainly are.

@BRADS Welcome back Bro :thumbsup:
Anyone using the VX 6 7-42x56
Not sure if there are any in the country yet
Attachment 31646 I have a 3-18x44 on my 7mmwsm 3.2kg rifle and it holds zero good and tracks fine so far and have dialled out to 500 yrds and back to zero no problems fitted moa/cds caps to elv and wind, just make sure you tighten up the locking allen keys tight and its a basted trying to find a new allen key when you lose the factory one, overall good scope for an all round hunting rifle
So , to drag up an old thread rather than start anew
Are folk still happy with the VX6 ?
Yes loving the 3-18x44
My 2-12 is good in all aspects except the elevation turret moves when rubbed against clothing or stuff in the bush. A locking turret and slightly thinner cross hairs would make it near perfect.
can they not be bought with a fine reticle?
edited to say
Guess not, just had a look at the reticle options.
getting pretty good press in general though from what I've been able to find so far.
3-18x44 going well. Dialled out to +800m and back repeatably but as mentioned, thinner crosshairs would be a bonus.
Good glass for the money.
Still stoked with my fine reticle 3-18 x 44.
I have 2-12, still happy.
Got the boon and crocket as always, cant think why you would want a thinner recticle unless dedicated target and then there is probably more suitable scopes available.
Just about the reticle. I've always understood that the duplex is thicker on the 2-12 than the higher mag models which have the "fine duplex" reticle?
got 3-18x44 with firedot reticle - works a treat. My only complaint is the clicks on dial up are kinda musshy and not firm/definite as I would like. (Vortex, NF, Weaver etc all have much better feel)
I had a VX6 2-12x42 and was impressed by it's optics and it was just as bright as the Z6 1.7-10x42 I had too with excellent FOV. They both weighed a little too much for me though and my Sako 85 BB .308 handles better with a lighter scope so I sold both and now use a 2-7x33.
@10-Ring what is a 85 BB?
Another quality Sako[emoji41]

it's amazing those sako's shoot so well with such an abortion of a bedding system
pardon?
