    Leupold VX6 4-24x52

The new VX6 4-24 x 52 arived in the country yesterday, I saw it today whilst picking up a VX6 CDS cap for a client, that took a while.........

Here are the specs from Leupold

Leupold Optics VX-6 4-24x52mm Side Focus CDS - | Leupold Optics

They appear to be a little different to the scope I saw.
It looked very nice, seemed a little heavy, with the 34mm tube it had about 80 moa to dial.
The reticle looked pretty good but no number marking on it & I'm not sure which power it "works" on.
I guess the hash marks were 1 moa.
The turrets have caps on them.
Pretty impressed with it going by my very brief look at it.

    You got !!!

Imagine 68 moa in a 34 mm tube, still more than a moa S&B

The 20 moa turret goes around 4 times or so, 80 ish moa

Ya what? Twice the price and 15oz heavier... Not even similar. Almost think you were selling Nightforce

I'm quite interested to see one of these, could be a really good option for a light LR rig, especially with CDS dials on it including a properly marked windage dial

If you can click in the range and wind easily why bother with the dots ? I think they just confuse the issue .
Get as close as you can then six feet closer

I just saw one yesterday. Bloody light for a 34mm tube. The reticle looks real good too, almost the same as the TMR. I don't like the capped turrets, but thats only because I WILL loose them eventually if I owned one.
What's with the eyepiece too. It just looks like it was rushed? Tacky writing and an odd looking diopter adjustment? Maybe just me? All up a pretty clever scope (bout time too) from loopy.
