    I had a crack at a Epoxy coated Paulownia stock. (blank from Scott). It has aluminium pillars and full length epoxy bedding (jb weld).
    I've made it for dad's Tikka M55 6.5CM to make it lighter to carry.
    Factory wood stock was 980g (w/limbsaver pad).
    Paulownia stock - 467g (w/jandal pad).
