moring guys, now i know if i need to ask a question this is the best place for me, so i wanting to buy a lead sled plus from the states, but the freight cost is a killer, now i understand you can have it sent somewhere in the states, where is it and how does it all work? cheers!
I have got one and the only time i use it if i am sighting in something nasty like a light and naked 9.3x62 other than that they are not that comfortable to shoot off. they certainly shut down the recoil but now days with every thing suppresssed or braked they are a little bit obsolete

unfortunatly my ute has a wellside, haha otherwise it would have a vice attached to it, which is prob the best way to do it, i get real bad and pulling shots or shaking if i concentrate to hard for to long which is making it hard. im thinking put a vice on the ground and just do it that way to zero and check diff loads
If the vice is tight enough to hold a decent caliber without any movement it have to seriously mark the stock or break it!
Probably ok with 22lr etc.

yea prob could make something up, but the time it'll take plus materials id rather pay someone to do it, next question will be is there anyone in the forum for a job that runs a few diff brands of ammo thru rifles to find the best one??, save me buying multiple packs
if your just buying ammo is it worth the extra trouble???

I just did this with my 308 and you won't need that setup to tell what shoots well. Hardest thing is waiting a couple of minutes between shots to eliminate differences from barrel temp!
Where were you looking at to buy in the states, I monitor cabelas when they have caldwell on special
