    Looking for Carbon Barrel Experience

I am considering using one for a re-barrel and after some experience from anyone who has used one.
Rifle will be a magnum, something I can use for hunting and can still shoot some casual long range targets with.
How do they handle heat? Any experience with different brands?
    Cheers

I've had about 4 Hardy carbon wrapped saves weight once you get out in length.
Can't say they shoot any better than a SS barrel cost more and you are stuck to they length that you fit ie can't be shortened later.
    But they look cool.

Can't say they shoot any better than a bull barrel or a sporter weight? What kind of accuracy are you getting out of the Hardy barrels?

They all shot under an inch and sometimes 1/2 inch but so does my factory Sako
