Swaro z5 very disappointing in low light compared to my swaro rangefinding binos.
Could see 7 deer clearly through binos and a bit fat blur thru the scope.
Purchased a z6 and whilst an improvement still not up to binos

With rangefinders like 95% of us have, why on earth would we want FFP for precision longer range shooting?
I dont know much about aging eyes yet thankfully but hunting into dark the first thing I loose is the recticle
I can clearly see that its in my scope but a black pig on a dark background all I can see is the outline
firedot illuminated dots helped me immensely

One of these sitting at Rivers To Ranges in Rangiora with 4W, spotted it last week.
@Gibo ;)
Ive just changed 2 of my scopes from Leupold to Swarovski. Hard to beat the clarity
Don't agree on that one. I shoot F-Class and have done a lot of LR varminting. A SFP scope has NO disadvantage in those respects. If you know where the first strike actually was, correcting is easy with either. Either way, the finer aiming point with the SFP at higher magnification is more desirable.
