Thread: m305 front sight issues

out shooting the m305 with irons today and i noticed its shooting maybe 125mm low of the bull at 25 yards. the rear sight is bottomed right out so i cant go lower and the front sight is non adjustable for height, my question is maybe i have somehow got a carbine front sight as it would have to be taller to compensate for the barrel length as mines full length, front sight blade measures 7.7mm and from i look at google images others appear to be shorter but its a bit hard to tell... any suggestions ?

Raise the rear sight

Well that's what I thought at the time but it seemed to get worse, maybe I should try again...

ok took it out again and yes raised the rear sight now its OK but the front sights is still far to high needs a trim i didn't raise it enough the first time to make a big enough difference. at the moment its on elevation number 9 and hitting at the bull at 50 yards
