Finally bought an aero precision ar15 scope mount and when I went to mount the scope I noticed that its extremely difficult to change the magnification, is this expected? its unusable IMHO so I am planning to send it back, unless I am missing something?
Is this before or after you've clamped it in the rings?
Never got to torqueing it up, had it lightly set and was setting the eye relief and went to try to go to x12 and heck I thought, oh, funny this is a bit hard.
By expected I mean it will loosen up with a bit of use?

My burris is like that, pretty stiff, lucky I don't change it that often. I get used to it thou
