    So after savage1 never telling me the outcome of this thread I stumbled across it today and gave it a try, BANG ON!
    I must have bent it slightly when reassembling the rifle. Took it apart and gave it a tweak and seems to have sold my issues. Was only having problems when down to the last few rounds as the pressure built up in the magazine spring would have been released and not have been enough left to overcome the downward force excreted from the ejector.
