    Marlin 795 picatinny rail

    Hey team.

    Looking at hitting the buy now on a wee marlin 795 ss to use as a bunny gun. The gun looks to have dovetail for scope rings. I seem to recall that they were actually slightly narrower than dovetail?

    I have a sytong NV I am going to mount on it that needs a picatinny rail. A quick google comes up with lots of Amazon junk. Has anyone mounted a picatinny rail to their 795? Was it straight forward? I need to know before I buy if it will work or not
