Thread: Mauser 98 stock

Not a want to buy just yet, too much going on. Is there many sporter 98 stocks out there? Not silly money. Old reasonable parker hales or maybe the discontinued synthetics?
How much are they going for?
A nicer one could go on the 270 and the synthetic on the 8x57

I’m often looking for these myself and the options seem very few. The options are either junk, or expensive.
Buying an unfinished one from Brownells was a better option in the past. With shipping going up it might not be so attractive now.

Yeah not keen on importing one.
Can't justify/afford 400+ bucks for what I want to do

Boyd’s laminate or
B&C synthetic would be simple lower but not cheap, cost options.

I've got an ex military one that's been cut down as a sporter if thats use to ya?

Could import one from Boyd’s out there close out line

i picked up a "monte carlo" stock at a good price on here last year so they do come up just have to be jonny on the spot when they do

@tonyd cheers but really after sporters to suit scopes. @NCGNSMITH interesting. Getting closer. Richards microfit used to do better deals but sadly don't export.
