About LinkBacksBefore i cut mine down, i weighed up these 2 podcasts and the wisdom of the forum. I haven't shot this out past 100 yet, but everything I've heard says its good out past 300m. The 2 episodes go over the data of a 16" tikka 308 but the maths still stacks up on a longer 308 of a different brand. The 2nd one shows the same rifle shooting out to 1000m so thats a capable bush pig. I heard that going too short comprimises the benifits of the supressor so i kept it at 18". I might go shorter in future.
