    I have one Bill, but still use it, would swap it for a cheep aluminim one if you have one of those kicking around

    yea mate ill do you a swap, I have only what I would call a nice 22 suppressor but that is only a win for you.
    what kind is it? so I can pull a pic up and see what your looking at?

    I have no idea, i dont think it has any stamping, springs and washers inside it, not even sure of thread, it fits my jw15 i will try take a pic later today for you

    Mine is a worth nothing type i think, i was given it 17 years ago , see if someone else has a cheepy for me to give away and keep your good one
    or i could flick you some coin as well

    Handgun hunting would be cool but then how many inexperienced shooters would try to play the big hero and buy a 500 S&W as their first hunting handgun

    Nah mate this is something I want to do, Im not after any money so just take it as a win and a show of appreciation for helping me out

    Provided they could afford ammo 1 shot would show them it's a dumb idea.

    What would be a good round to knock a pig over at point blank to say 15feet or so? Purely out of interest

    Otherwise what ever comes up the cheapest almost anything works at 15 yards

    In a pistol? .357 mag would do it. Probably even a .38 if you could get a good shot in. My dad use to smoke pigs with his ToZ so I can't see how a pistol of anything larger that .25ACP would be bad.

    Yea with a pistol, I saw on telly a guy in Hawaii that carried a 9mm semi for his pig gun, different worlds aye

    expressedly forbidden in this country is a pain in the ass,
    I have seen a pig hunter carry a shortened down bolt action with the buttstock cutt off in a holster on his hip while out in the bush
    So even a 22 pistol aparently does the job
