    Model 7 Scope Mount

    Has anybody with an older model 7 with the three hole receiver ever drilled and tapped a second hole in the rear bridge to accept two piece bases?
    US forums suggest it is doable, prefer first hand info. Looking to fit a set of Talleys and want to make sure spacing is correct.
    All feedback appreciated.

    Yep no problem for a real gunsmith

    Yes, done it a couple of times in a few minutes. You can use a number 31 drill and a 6x48 tap.
