Thread: Monoculars - does anyone use them?

    Monoculars usually suck, if you use a rifle scope, spotting scope or range finder for a decent length of time you'll get considerably more eye fatigue than with binos.
    Binos give better FOV, are more ergonomic to hold, and easier to hold steady.
    That being said if one eye isn't working none of those down sides apply.

    It'd be easy enough to try blocking one of the barrels and see if it makes a difference.
    If you notice no negative effects then may as well get a monocular for the smaller size and weight.
