Well, of the rifles I've seen people bring to the range new and sighting in - the Mossberg ones have not stood out as anything different to anything else that's been brought up and shot. Easily as capable as "minute of shooter" anyway.
I recall when the Tikkas first showed up, everyone bitched about shitty bedding and crap barrels (the early ones even had a few blowups due to a bad batch of barrel steel). Maybe there was a bad one or two that got encountered somewhere along the line by you but it doesn't seem to be the norm I've seen. In comparison I have seen a crap grouping Sako recently - and a CZ that wouldn't play at all (misfires and all sorts of tricks).
