Most efficient barrel length for .22 wmr

As above, what would be the most efficient barrel length for a .22 magnum?

I find mine a pain in the a*se for shooting hares/rabbits/possums out of the truck on the farm, and with the suppressor on its even worse.

Who's shortened their .22 magnums' barrel? To what length and with what results?

    Thanks,
    Josh

16 inches and no velocity loss, it had crappy accuracy to start with and that never changed

Make sure the windows and mirrors are out of the way when you start using it Josh.
A mate shot out 2 wing mirrors and 2 passenger windows cleaning up pestys on his place with a short rifle😀
I managed to send an ariel flying shooting rabbits off his truck bonnet once.

Haha. Would have fired thousands of rounds out truck windows now (how dodgy does that sound! Haha) and the only f-up was shooting a pig out the passengers window of my mates dads new hilux with a mini 30. Ejected shell shattered the windscreen! That was a few years ago now. It was two sheepish boys who took the truck home that day. Got the pig though!
