Has anyone here got a 44mm z5 mounted on a sako? Will it fit with one piece optilocks?

Yes and yes.

Sons got a 5-25 Z5 on his 85 WSM, that has a 52 mm objective, in one piece Optilocks. With plenty of clearance.

Or if you want to go optilock rings and bases and get 0.022” ( approximately) milled off the top of the front base, that’s about 20MOA. If you run a 200 yd zero it can help you get a bit further out, without running out of internal travel.

The self aligning plastic inserts stop kinking the scope tube. I’ve done this on my ‘75 7mmRM.

I have a Z5 3.5-18x44 on my A7 but I used a pair of Leupold rings from a previous rifle and my freind with the same setup used DZM rings. I was going to use optilocks but in the end it was just as easy to use what I had in the cupboard.

The scope has sufficient clearance at the objective to miss the barrel but there isn't much wiggle room - probably 3mm max. My long term goal is to swap that scope directly onto a Sako 85. Just as soon as somebody sells me one.
