Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone out there has had experiences with the NEA AR15s from nzar15.com?
quite a few of us on here have them , what would u like to know ? ... solid , shoots fine , loads and cycles fine , very angular (I love it) and very modular, .. great price and fantastic service from ken at nzar15 .... I want to buy more of them , ....
You can also get CMMG and Spikes ARs from Ken now too, if you don't want the angular receivers.
I absolutely fukin loved mine, but sold it on, just wanted to fullfill a long time ache......another box ticked
Thanks for that. Just wanted to know as I am considering purchasing one in the future.
I just purchased a CMMG from Ken.
Put the lower together myself, very pleased with the fit an finish of this rifle.
Ken was very good to deal with too.
Lots of guys have NEA's at the range all function and shoot very well.
Cheers
Pete
NEA is one of my 2/3 choices (Well brownells is doing a huge sale right now so I now have 3 choices). If I wasnt going to shoot WSRA so needed a service rifle like M16A2/M4 I'd probably buy the 18inch barrelled one, at $1699 its a hell of a price.
:yum:
The only thing that raised an eyebrow is it uses the cheaper (I assume) 6061 alloy and not the stronger 7075 alloy which is more "normal". Really though I suspect that makes no difference what so ever, Im never gong to be bayoneting ppl or beating them senseless with it, at least I hope not.
:sarge:
My mates NEA's are very accurate. I have an 18" upper which I want to set up as my longer range .223
Yeah I have been eyeing up the 18" one, especially with the price as you say. Looked at the 3rd generation one but I don't really see how it would make a difference

here is my dad having a go with my 18 inch dmr nea .....
Good guns, accurate, dependable and great service. Nothing wrong with the gen 2 at all. I would jump at the lower price, leaving you with money to spend on either ammo, nicer hand guard or optics.
I got the gen 2 , because there were no gen 3s .... I looked at the spikes tactical while in kens shop on Monday ..... nice looking rifle , ... I love my nea , and cant believe people still buy a norinco ar , when the neas are so cheap
