    NHM 90 mag extension?

    Anyone on here cut the spring in the mag so the standard 5 round mag becomes 7....or 6.....?

    Any do's or don'ts before I reach for the pliars?.......itching to get at it.......

    yep, the spring is compressed in a nhm mag to limit rounds,
    theres no stopper as such

    cut the spring a couple coils at a time,
    off the top of my head it was 6 or 7 coils, but cant be sure?

    cant put it back on, but can always remove another coil

    If it's the same spring or roughly the same as a AR then cutting the spring will REDUCE the number of rounds(you may need to find a different Spring)

    Decided not to gamble for 2 extra shots.......got another 5 rnd mag from gun city....half price $50 Fathers day special......
